Designed entirely by high school students, the yearbook program gives participants ownership of a professionally published product while developing valuable real-world skills. Students learn graphic design, photography, editing, and writing through creating engaging spreads, captions, and stories. They also gain experience in project management by planning schedules, meeting deadlines, and collaborating effectively. Along the way, they strengthen leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, budgeting, and digital literacy using professional publishing tools to produce the final yearbook.
