Vision and Mission

Ilm Academy’s vision is to establish and maintain a learning community that, at the very core, provides students with opportunities to discover their potential, their values, and their strengths to make informed decisions grounded in their deen and create a difference in their communities.

Ilm Academy strives to provide a holistic and enriched learning environment focused on whole child development that fosters intellectual growth, creative thinking, social awareness, spiritual and physical development through cross disciplinary curriculum, interactive pedagogical implementation, and opportunities for experiential learning.

Global Citizens

Ilm Academy’s comprehensive and cohesive offerings focus on implementation of skills and strategies that students learn on a daily basis. Students are guided to apply these skills towards community projects such as fundraising efforts for supporting the less fortunate in local as well as global communities.

Empowered individuals

At Ilm Academy, students develop leadership, confidence, and teamwork through the Buddy System, Student Council, and student-led clubs. They also build communication and critical thinking skills by participating in annual activities such as spelling bees, speech contests, science fairs, and other engaging school events.

Good Character

Keeping tethered to Ilm Academy’s core Tarbiyah Program, all classes at the school are designed and taught in a way to help students make connections with the Quran and The Creator. This approach leads to a truly transformative learning experience for each and every student.

Critical Thinkers

Throughout the academic year, Ilm Academy students are provided opportunities to explore open-ended tasks and work on collaborative projects in math and science classes that specifically support the development of a growth mindset and collaborative skills.

Empathetic Individual

Ilm Academy’s structured ELA and social sciences classes encourage students to ponder and delve deeper into present day socio-political issues in order to develop an insightful understanding of the complexities that drive human civilizations.

Faithful Individuals

Ilm Academy prides itself in creating an environment where students are inspired to develop faithfulness and internalize the core values of honesty and integrity to become lifelong learners with the aim for them to reach for excellence in every aspect of their lives.
